The combination of sturdy tamo and lightweight solid paulownia wood gives the bed a simple yet tasteful design. When folded, the bed has an assist function to make it lightweight and easy to maneuver. When lying down, the bed was designed to be as comfortable as a stationary bed, for ease of use and comfort. Function
Clean and Beautiful Bedrooms
The secret to a clean and beautiful bedroom is to keep it free from moisture and dust. This ideal bed was born from the hot and humid climate of Japan. The slatted part is 1.5cm (0.59in) thick and 8cm (3.15in) wide, and is designed to be sturdier than standard slatted wood. The bed also features castors that automatically brake when weight is applied to the bed. This reduces wobbling and squeaking and ensures comfortable use.
Easy Folding with Assist Function
The bed can be easily folded without bending down, simply by pulling up the side handles. The spring-assisted function makes folding surprisingly smooth, even with a futon on top. The bed is designed to be at a height that makes it easy to stand and sit up when a futon or mattress is laid on it. Reduces the load of standing and sitting.
Compact Storage
When folded, it is approximately 19cm (7.48in) thick and can be stored in a closet. Can be used spaciously even in small bedrooms. With castors, it is easy to move. Dust under the bed is easy to clean, so you can always keep your bedroom space clean.
