However, this does not apply to cases in which the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations permit the Company to provide personal information to a third party without obtaining prior consent.
5-2. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
We may provide personal information (“personal information” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information) to third parties, such as website browsing history and usage history of our services, among other information about users. Personally Relevant Information does not include personal information that can identify an individual.
However, if a third party to whom we provide personally related information is expected to use such personally related information as personal information, we will confirm with the third party that it has obtained consent from the user in advance to use such personally related information as personal information.
6. Entrustment of Personal Information Handling
We may outsource all or part of personal information to third parties to the extent necessary for the purposes stated in “3. How We Use Personal Information.” In such cases, we will conduct a rigorous investigation of the third party and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the third party to ensure the safe management of the personal information entrusted to the third party.
7. Procedures for Requesting Disclosure of Personal Information
Relating to personal information held by us that falls under the category of “retained personal data,” we will respond to requests for sharing the purpose of usage, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, deletion, and suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “disclosure request.”) from the person concerned or his/her representative (representative by decision or based on entrustment) based on the following procedures.

(3) Procedures for Requests for Disclosures
1. After receiving your request, we will mail you the prescribed request form “Request Form for Disclosures of Personal Information Subject to Disclosure.”
2. Please send the completed request form, documents verifying the identity of the representative if the request is made by a representative, and a postal money order for the fee (only for requests for notification of purpose and disclosure) to the Personal Information Inquiry Section above by mail.
3. After receiving the request form, we will inquire about two items of personal information registered with us (e.g., telephone number and date of birth, etc.) to confirm the identity of the individual.
4. A response will be sent in writing (by sealed envelope) to the person in question.
(4) Documents to verify the representative’s identity
If the person requesting disclosures is a representative, please enclose documents certifying that the person is a representative and the representative’s identity. The information on the place of domicile included in each document should be limited to the prefecture/state of origin, and any information after that should be blacked out or otherwise processed.
